RINALDINI DISTRIBUTION NAMED 2003 INNOVATOR BY WESTERN FOOD EXPO
California Company Brings State-of-the-Art Italian Wine Dispensing Technology
to the U.S.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Rinaldini Distribution, Inc. of Laguna Niguel, Calif., announced today that it will be honored by the Western Food and Hospitality Expo - Los Angeles (Expo-LA) with the prestigious 2003 Innovator Award at the California Restaurant Association’s Educational Foundation Gala on Friday, August 1st at the Dorothy Chandler Music Center in Los Angeles.
The Innovator Award recognizes the newest and most ingenious products at the Expo-LA show, which features over 900 exhibiting companies and thousands of products and services on display August 2-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. As the exclusive U.S. distributors of Italian manufacturer Enomatic’s groundbreaking wine dispensing systems, Rinaldini Distribution, Inc. provides the American food, wine, and hospitality industries with several revolutionary new tools for dispensing, preserving, and tracking wine inventory.
“It’s so exciting to receive the Innovator Award coinciding with our U.S. market launch of Enomatic’s intelligent machines,” says Caryn Rinaldini, co-owner of Rinaldini Distribution, Inc.. “These Wine Serving System really make serving, tasting, and preserving wine a lot easier.”
Unlike earlier Wine Serving System, which allowed for wine to be dispensed through the use of faucets in varying, estimated quantities by the user, Enomatic’s Wine Serving System utilize proprietary state-of-the-art technology to deliver an exact quantity in every pour with the simple push of a button. According to Rinaldini, “The program that calculates the dosage is very easy to use and can be programmed by the machine owner.”
With the precise pouring accuracy of its customizable one- to three-button system (for example, “taste,” “half-glass,” and “glass” measures), Enomatic’s software component introduces sophisticated inventory, usage, and cost data analysis functionality to U.S. wine providers for the first time. Wine vendors using Enomatic’s Windows-based system can save significant time and money by eliminating waste and calculating profits, purchases, and inventory management based on statistical data instead of estimations.
Rinaldini Distribution, Inc. also offers Enomatic systems with rechargeable Wine Card technology that allow customers to choose and self-serve measured portions of wine for tasting and drinking. Each taste (from each bottle) can be set at a different cost, and after a pour, the value used is deducted from the Wine Card with the remaining value of the card displayed on a read-out screen. This innovation provides a new and unique way to offer wine tasting.
“Traditionally, wine tasting has been an inexact science that inevitably led to lots of product going to waste,” explains Rinaldini. “With Enomatic Wine Serving System, even if customers are pouring their own wine, the quantity is carefully controlled, and the inventory is accurately recorded.”
Using a special new method, Enomatic units maintain the organoleptic integrity (taste, aroma, body, and color) of the wines being dispensed for up to three weeks. These results have been analyzed and confirmed by the independent and historic Gallo Nero Consortium in Tuscany.
Enomatic’s innovative adaptation system can also accommodate practically any type of bottle, allowing the system to dispense a wide range of products, including olive oil, vinegar, grappa, brandy, and other liquids that don’t contain carbon dioxide. An integrated system designed according to customer needs, Enomatic units are available as mobile carts and behind-the-counter models only eight inches deep, which dispense 6-8 bottles of wine, and also as round kiosks that hold up to 16 bottles.
All models feature attractive Italian styling and can be completely modified according to customer specifications, with cabinetry ranging from fine wood grain to stainless steel.
Rinaldini Distribution, Inc. will be offering demonstrations and special pricing at their exhibitor’s booth # 1470 at the Western Food & Hospitality Expo August 2-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
